The year has just begun, but it's not too early to start thinking about booking our 2022 St. Michael's Camping Trip! This year's adventure will take place Friday, June 10 - Sunday, June 12 at Muskegon's Pioneer Park and we hope to see many of you there! Did you save the date? Plan on coming to the Saint Michael's community winter event, a Chili Cook-Off . There will be a chili competition, tasting and voting. Deadline to pay deposit and register is next Tuesday, December 7. This will be a combined field trip with St. Joseph, St. Catherine, St. Francis Xavier and Holy Trinity.
All ushers and interested people are invited to attend a demonstration on the use of the AED and some basics of CPR. This is NOT a qualified course, just tips on how to handle the AED and when to use CPR. It will be next Tuesday, December 7, at 6:30 in the back of church. Please come and learn all you can.

A friendly reminder that with the time change this coming weekend (don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour!) our Mass times will be shifting later by half an hour. New Sunday Mass times will be 8:00am and 9:30am at Saint Michael's and 11:00am at Saint Mary's.
On Saturday, November 6, Burton will be back to test our knowledge of everything and nothing. Get your teams of 8 or less together and sign up in the glass hallway. As usual please bring a snack to share and your favorite beverage. There also will be a request for a donation to cover all the costs. See you then!
Join the Knights of Columbus on Saturday, October 23, for plenty of family-friendly Halloween fun! From 6-9 PM here at St. Michael's, you can find hot dogs, hot chocolate and some special treats for all the ghoulish guests! There will be a hayride and bonfire (weather permitting), and pumpkin carving for everyone! Cost to join is just one non-perishable food item per person (to benefit Coopersville Cares). We will be resuming our Youth Ministry next month, and I wanted to share with you our plans for the future of this program. Please see my attached letter. I encourage you to register your son or daughter (in grades 9-12) as soon as possible. You may call the Parish Office to do so. If you don't have a child in these grades but know of someone who may be interested, please encourage them to reach out as well.

We are excited to announce that Coffee and Donuts will be back, beginning Sunday, September 26! We will be in need of volunteers to help with preparing and serving the coffee, so signup sheets will be available outside the window in the kitchen. We are glad to announce that as a result of the positive feedback we've been receiving on our Parish Camping Trip earlier this month that we will be making this an annual event! Whether you're interested in camping with us next year or just coming out for the "potluck" dinner on Saturday evening, mark your calendars for June 10-12, 2022 (details coming early next year). Happy Monday Campers! This week is our Parish Camping Trip up at Pioneer Park on the north side of Muskegon. Please keep in mind even if you are not camping, everyone is more than welcome to come up on Saturday afternoon for our 'Pot Luck' Dinner. We're planning on eating sometime between 5:30pm and 6:00pm.
