The children leave Mass just before the First Reading and return during the collection. (September - May) This is a FREE program, but registration at the beginning of the year is appreciated so we know who is coming.
**REMOTE LEARNING will be carried out through the end of 2020, due to the current health orders**
1st grade and 3rd through 5th Grades have the option, this year, of attending classes in-person on Wednesday evening from 6:15 until 7:30pm. Or, if you choose to catechize your child at home, Saint Michael’s will provide at-home materials and resources. *Please note on your completed registration if you choose the “at-home” program. Due to the First Communion Sacramental Preparation, 2nd Grade in-person attendance is vital.

Or, if you choose to catechize your child at home, Saint Michael’s will provide at-home materials and resources. *Please note on your completed registration if you choose the “at-home” program. Due to the Confirmation Sacramental Preparation, 8th Grade in-person attendance is vital.
At Saint Michael's, the Sacrament of First Holy Communion is typically received in 2nd grade. The classes are in conjunction with our Wednesday night Faith Formation classes and the Sacrament will be received in May.
Classes are every Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
